    If these are pending 485 applications at USCIS, Number of pending applications with PD later than JUL 2007 should be zero.

    If these are labor filings, they probably dont include dependents.

    I had already mentioned my EAD status when they had the interview. But after acceptiing it I mentioned it again in the conext of I9 form. Then they said they cant offer me emp;oyment due to my being on EAD.

    This is a pretty big company. I understand that H1B is not protected under anti-discrimination for employment, but EAD holders, specifically those with AOS pending, are a protected against employment discrimination.

    Does anyone have any links to the above conclusion ? I am so tired of this BS. I have spent long enough in this immigration c**p that if I have leave, might as well leave with a fight.

    On the EAD itself it is written that it is illegal to discriminate against folks who are having EAD. So if you have any written or verbal proof about employer saying no based on EAD you have a case of discrimination.

    Yes this is true. last year i my wife's EAD was dealyed after 90 days so i walked into a USCICS centre and they said they no more issue INTERIM EAD's.

    Travelling via London Gatwick and Dubai to India and back. No airport change required during transit. Using AP, visa expired. I have a valid Canada PR card.
    According to UK embassy US GC and Canada PR card holders do not need transit for direct airside transit. Does anyone have any experience in this situation? Please post. Thanks

    Now is the time to educate American people how badly we legal immigrants are treated. The whole immigration system is broken in the US. No wonder why 20 million illegal immigrants decided to conceal their identities. There are no rules to be followed (now USCIS itself has broken the immigration law by re-issuing July VB which is against law).
    We should send a note to Mr. Director (USCIS) that this action of his department will make the already broken immigration system worse, and Mr. President (USA) will not like it. Even people from the illegal immigrant community who are planning to become legals will now change their minds seeing USCIS chaos.

    We are a husband and wife, both filing.
    My priority date is Oct 06 and my wife's will be July 1st. (or so.)

    My wife's company is a large multinational and her job is secure. My company is small and not making oodles of money right now.

    So I consider my wife's to be solid and slow and mine to be less solid but faster.

    I predict that mine will get approved before hers and they'll drop hers. But because I simply do not trust USCIS to process them without a hitch, we're filing twice. Shotgun theory.

    Our lawyers seem to concur. If our PDs were the same and our companies were similar, it probably wouldn't be worth filing twice.

    My question is regarding the EADs and APs. I believe that I should file through her because they are more "solid" applications. I assume that the EAD/AP will be processed prior to the 485 and priority date does not affect them. Her job is more secure than mine and so her EAD would be too..

    Am I wrong?

    The real question is whether 2 files is ok with USCIS. Lawyers are giving different opinion on whether u can do it or not.

    If u can file 2 sets, then do ead/ap on one.

    Did it suggest lots of denial rate on 140 (especially Eb1s)? And it is deterring 140 filing since Jan.? I believe all those lawyers, and bodyshops realize it.

    Neither the denial nor the approval rates are significantly changed. However, the receipts have fallen. Look at that as many universities and private companies not hiring teaching and research specialists. So it seems like the economy is the deterrent.

    tracker site data is fake....... tracker site has employees sitting in India...... those employees create fake ids and fake profiles....... then they write post using those fake ids to create an impression that there are lot of people posting on the tracker site...... if you look at title of most threads...... they are framed in the manner that will be inviting most others to write on the thread.......... every few days these employees sitting in India..... using a fake profile ........ start a new thread with a title something like .... 'i got it i got it ' or ' i am green' or something similar..... and using other fake ids the same bunch of employees ask fake questions from op..... who is also a fake handle...... so the data there is totally fake..... that data represents the need of the tracker site to make people to come to their site...... that data does not represent the sample data...... not even close.....
